Last updated 26 August 2026. This notice explains how personal data is used when you visit this website or request a Promotion Proof campaign check.

Why we use it and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Review a request, take payment, perform the check, deliver the report and provide support | Steps requested before a contract and performance of the service contract |
| Keep invoices, refunds and other records required for tax, accounting or regulatory purposes | Legal obligation |
| Secure the service, prevent misuse, resolve disputes and improve the one-off service using limited operational feedback | Legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, balanced against your rights |
| Send optional marketing in the future | Consent or another lawful basis required at that time; this validation service does not currently add buyers to a marketing list |
Service providers and sharing
Information is shared only where needed with service providers that support the transaction and delivery, such as Tally for intake, Stripe for payment, the website and email providers, and professional advisers where necessary. If you buy through Fiverr or Upwork, that marketplace separately handles the account, messages and payment under its own privacy terms. We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party advertising.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or to investigate fraud or security incidents.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are supported by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention
Campaign inputs, working notes and evidence are normally deleted or anonymised within 30 days after report delivery, unless a support issue or dispute requires longer retention. Enquiries that do not become orders are normally deleted within 90 days. Payment, invoice, refund and tax records may be kept for up to six years, or longer only where law or an active legal claim requires it. Test submissions are deleted or clearly separated from customer records.
Cookies and measurement
Essential hosting or security technologies may operate to display and protect the site. Optional Google Analytics measurement is disabled unless you select “Accept analytics” in the website banner. If accepted, Google Analytics helps us count visits, understand referral sources and measure how visitors use the offer pages. We use this information only to evaluate and improve Promotion Proof; it is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.
Your analytics choice is stored locally in your browser. You can withdraw or change it at any time using the “Cookie choices” button shown on the website. Declining analytics does not affect access to the site or service. Google may process consented analytics data outside Ireland or the EEA using its applicable transfer safeguards. More information is available in Google's privacy policy.
Tally, Stripe, Fiverr and Upwork may use their own necessary or optional technologies when you visit their pages; their notices and controls apply there.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where consent is used. A request can be sent to mark@emmaenterprisesgroup.com. We may need reasonable information to verify the request.
You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. There is no solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Security and changes
Reasonable organisational and technical safeguards are used to limit access and protect service information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This notice will be reviewed when the service, providers or legal requirements change; the date above will show the latest revision.
